A group of ten people standing in front of a yellow rescue helicopter on a tarmac. The helicopter has registration G-DSAA and is marked with supporting organizations. The people are wearing navy blue polo shirts with yellow lanyards.

As a Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance face-to-face fundraiser, you will either go door-to-door or work from local venues (such as supermarkets and garden centres), raising awareness of our charity and helping the public support us with small monthly donations.

We have lots of employed and self-employed positions, so if you have a great attitude and enjoy talking to people, this could be the job for you.

You also get regular visits to our airbase to meet the charity team and crew, see the helicopter, and be respected as a vital part of our life-saving team. You will also get plenty of support from your manager and all the kit you need to help you succeed.

Responsibilities:

  • Work locally, asking the public to support our £5 a-month lottery or to make a small, regular monthly donation.

  • Represent the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance as a brand ambassador.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Friendly, polite, and positive. Able to build rapport quickly with people.

  • Enjoys being out and about rather than being stuck behind an office desk.

Opportunities:

  • Fantastic pay

  • Market-leading bonuses

  • Pension and 28 days’ holiday plus bank holidays (for employed)

  • Great training and support

  • Venue and door-to-door positions available
